LITTLE TANTRUMS

AN  AGRICULTURAL SHOW  LAST YEAR HAD ME IN MY ELEMENT..I ADORE THESE MINIATURE HORSES AND THEIR GIANT CLYDESDALE FRIENDS…AFTER SNAPPING AWAY ALL DAY THEY ASKED MY HUBBY IF I WANTED TO TOUR WITH THEM FOR SIX WEEKS TO CAPTURE PICTURES OF THE HORSES..APPARENTLY PICTURES OF THEM DISPLAYING THEIR INDIVIDUAL MOODS IS QUITE POPULAR! IN PARTICULAR IF THEY DECIDE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PLANS!  WHICH THEY ALL DID..I MUST CONFESS I DO LOVE IT WHEN THEY HAVE A TANTRUM! ..THESE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES WERE ALL VERY WELL LOVED AND CARED FOR AND AT NO TIME WERE THEY TREATED POORLY…JUST THERE TO SHOW OFF HOW LOVELY THEY WERE..PLEASE ENJOY THE CHARACTERS THAT I MET..I SPOKE TO NEARLY ALL OF THEM AND THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! …AND IT WAS TEMPTING TO GO OFF IN A HORSE FLOAT AND WHILE AWAY SIX WEEKS WITH THESE DARLINGS 🙂

  1. Oh dear. I used to work with miniature horses – three mares and a stallion. A group with ‘little man’ syndrome if I ever met one! I got ballsy one day and brought all three mares in from the pasture at once – they spooked, and took off… I didn’t let go. I fell, got dragged, still didn’t let go…recall thinking, ‘what kinda eejit ARE you, this HURTS!’ And then let go.

Road rash isn’t fun, even if it’s caused by miniature horses!

  2. Whee know our Mummy has had trouble with a naughty little shetland pony at a stables she sometimes visits. The littlest ponies seem to have the biggest personalities.

    Some amazing pigtures you got!

  3. The Mini horses were all feeling a bit frisky.. 🙂 Those Clydes were still just babies! Beautiful Clydesdales. We(not we personally.. 🙂 ) have a Clydesdale farm, Warm Springs Ranch, not far from us that breeds for the future teams that pull the Budweiser hitches. We visit every Fall! Love your shots. I have a thing for Clydesdales.. ♥

      • I love Clydes!!! I remember going to annual Royal Winter Fair in Toronto with my Father & I got too close to a huge giant of a Clyde. He stepped back & stood on my foot….funny thing he did not step right down on my foot & turned around & looked right at me….he then lifted his hoof off my foot & I started breathing again…..lol…
I have a friend in town here who has a friend who has Mini horses….I have gone for a wagon ride & 2 of these wee lovelies pulled the wagon with the driver & I & we weighed 300+ libz combined! They sure are strong for being so small.
So far Nylablue has not seen the pix sjo I am safe; whew!!! 😉
See you later @ the party!
