  1. You’re waiting for Spring and we’re on the cusp of Fall! Not in a hurry for that although it’s my favorite time of the year because of the beauty of the leaves changing……I love that you say HI to the cows!!

  2. Dang, of course this means we are looking forward to snow…yet hopefully at least two months away. Last year it snowed in early October, fingers crossed we won’t see a repeat of that nonsense.

    • It may be beautiful and we don’t get snow where we live..have to take a longggg drive to get to snow ..but I can imagine the absolute pain it would be to try and get things done and keep warm! Snow is lovely to visit but to live with it …I can only imagine!

        • Nylablue we have still a lot of the property that is thick with scrub as we call it,these bushes are referred to as ‘petrol’ bush or ‘kero’ bush..even in winter when green it burns at the drop of a hat and sends spirals up in the air…it needs to be pulled out and burned in safe conditions (which is a three second window every year it seems 😦 ) they tend to grow under gum trees so if they catch with fire then it leaps up the tree and then the fire spreads in the tree canopies and you have bush fires..so before summer people are encouraged to check their blocks and clear any fire fuels,we have quite a large area where the gums are fine as underneath the scrub has been removed but vast areas still need a burnoff,it takes a long time and the conditions to burn off are very specific so it’s sometimes doesn’t all get done before the fire restrictions come into place and then you cant burn anything! Councils have stupid rules and what you can and can’t burn off are strictly monitored with massive fines for some burns,i will be doing a big post on the whole thing before summer and I think mum will find it interesting the battle we all wage against councils who allow houses to be built in hire fire risk areas but won’t allow people to keep themselves safe.We don’t live in the bush to destroy it but we need to be safe a safe burn gives wildlife a chance to move on a wild fire doesn’t ..Hugs Miss Bev xxx
