I have been offline for a week..may as well be a lifetime..i feel like I will never catch up now!!

Between intruders from Fri through to Monday..Applefest…CWA and everything else I have exhausted myself well and good and all I can say is I need a holiday…

You may or may not know I have Fibro so when I push myself I end up in a world of hurt..and that’s where I am at the moment…awesome..so bear with me as I try and catch up with all your bloggies and reply to your comments..i will get there ..I will try my hardest to catch up …good grief πŸ™‚

So in the meantime as I try to get my energy levels back and get my CWA stuff up to date I will leave you with my prize winning pie pic ..yes best Apple Pie and best Apple cake…muffins I was beaten by our CWA treasurer who took out first and my daughter Rhiannon who took out second!

  12. What a lovely family – in-laws included πŸ™‚

Is that you with the dark hair? Why did I think you were a blonde? I must be thinking of Ms C from NZ πŸ™‚ Well it must be you as you are reflected in your daughter!

My dad wears a kilt. He has the ultimate response to “what is worn under a kilt?”

“Nothing is worn – it is all in perfect working condition!” Ugh, daaaaaad!
I’ve also been diagnosed with fibro – but I think for me it was more a case of ‘we have no idea why you hurt, so it must be this.’ I only hurt when stressed out mentally – and I’m going to blame my current aches on OA – old age!

    Like

    • Yes that’s me up on the stage with the dark hair in a ponytail hahahh always a different colored ribbon every day..in case you bump into me hahaah πŸ™‚ Rhiannon is apparently like me..only gorgeous bwahahaha
Dad jokes…always a hoot…my grandma was a Scot so I am pretty sure I know what’s under there hahah πŸ™‚ yes some Drs tell everyone they have fibro others don’t ‘believe’ it exists..two bouts of meningitis have caused mine..and yes OA accounts for some stuff here too πŸ˜‰ hugs Fozziemum xx

      • I think you are just as gorgeous – hush your mouth!
I have loads of Scots blood – filtered through a lot of years being hillbillies in America! Dad has no scots blood, but wears the Irish tartan (so ugly, mustard yellow). Da plays the pipes, how awesome!
Fibro… I can’t imagine what or how a diagnosis here would go. I doubt the entire country recognises it as a real thing. It’s hard enough to diagnose anything here! I had heart palpitations for ages, and it turned out to be stress. No one told me that: it was me looking backward in time and realising when it started. Never had it again, btw.

        • Hahahahaah the kilt sounds a tad yetch in color!! can’t believe it took that long for heart palps to be seen as stress….things are not that much better here really…got told I was depressed….funny I was still laughin my ass off even though I couldn’t move and like a stroke couldn’t get the words I could see in my mind out of my mouth….drs pfffttt :0

          • Oh, no doc ever told me it was stress. It just ‘went away’ so they didn’t care any more! Ugh.

Your description doesn’t sound like fibro either!

I had to break down in tears to get a depression diagnosis. And I HATE crying. I’d love to know what is really wrong with me, because I know it isn’t normal. But it is hardly worth the effort here.

            • Damn…mine is def Fibro..Incredible aching all over..like the flu without head cold…no depth perception at night ..headaches..foggy brain..the rheum has confirmed it with tests…the joy of joys…the meds keep it at bay but if I push myself physically or get uber stressed bang..my mother has had issues with her depression all her life and I am so different so to have a gp say I was depressed an hormonal…told me at the time I was menopausal…had a female gp who did hormone tests and said nup ..nowhere near it..not to mention the cholest meds this gp had me on for years has been linked to fibro and Americans are suing the company..drs…pfffttt….asses..i hope you get some answers…I really do…since I now know and know how to deal with it I feel heaps better..except today hahahaha πŸ™‚
