Bloggin gets more confused

It seems that we have no longer get posts from blogger or BlogSpot in our lists..apparently something was changed with the flux capacitor or the jigger watts and so all us WordPress folks got was one post and nothing else…I thought naturally that everyone I followed had blocked me dumped me or had slid off the face of the universe…so after some pretty tacky and poor detective work I discovered I was not alone…Voila..
So unless these blogs are on bloglovin then they won’t show up…now I have four blogs of my own..and follow blogs on all different formats..so this just makes my already hair tearing schedule of following blogs more confused..
My question is ..am I a complete dimwit? am I the only one needing to be awake 26 out of 24 hours to do this? …
I leave you to ponder as I head to a hot chocolate and a nitey nite smooch with the fur bearin critters πŸ™‚

  1. Same here, they are on the list but the reader shows only wp-blogs. I have to visit all blogs per paw now…. wish my day would have 87 hours :o) even the free hosted blogs of WP are invisible, that’s a conspiracy…

  2. Blogging sure is a way to lose hair or make it turn white. Each iteration of WP or Blogger or whatever seems to bring its own and special ‘features’. One day you can like a blog, the next you can’t and then comments waft off into the lost comments box in the sky. You just have to keep on keeping on and hope for the best. 26 hours would be great too πŸ˜‰

  3. bev,,,blogger is having the same issue, when I bring up my reading list, only one blog shows up instead of the “list” of 30; or everyone who has posted a post that day. in order to see who HAS posted; I have to click on them from the side bar one by one; it’s a MAJOR issue over there and supposedly a “bug” and supposedly being worked on; I am seeing YOUR post because I signed up to get them by email; but even that does not work…aint technology grand !!!!!

  4. no you aren’t dim-witted at all! It takes me HOURS to read blogs (I subscribe to over 300). Admittedly, I don’t read everyone’s every day (as much as I want to), there just isn’t enough time. That is part of the reason I don’t blog (and won’t), 7 days a week…I try to give folks a break πŸ™‚ I follow most of the blogs I follow via email………there are many that I subscribe to via email AND Bloglovin (I mostly follow on Bloglovin just to give them a “follow”, email is my primary source). It is easier for me to read blogs as they pop up in email, rather than taking a huge chunk of time to sit with a reader and read them. Reading them as they come up via email, allows me to at least do other things in-between.

  5. I don’t use the WP Reader either BUT if I DO use it, I see the BlogSpot and Blogger blogs I follow – otherwise I do NOT receive email notifications which is a BAD thing because I frequently forget to visit without the notifications reminding me. DUH. I have always preferred an email notice from the blogs I follow BUT something happened a while back and I quit getting them. Relying on my memory to kick in is hopeless….so I SHOULD use the Reader!!

  6. I think I may be the dummy. What do you use to follow blogs? I get my feed from wordpress.com but that means I have to follow non-wordpress blogs using feedly or yahoo, but I never think to log into those programs. I log into wordpress when I want to post something or check replys and everyone’s post is there.

  7. I noticed that one blogger on Blogger that had my post on a auto update list suddenly only got perhaps one update a week. I had a similar issue when trying the auto update to a Google Plus page myself so I gave up on that. I just tell everyone that I update every day like usual since 2011 and hope they click on me if the reader app doesn’t give an update.

  8. Like Easy, I have had to check manually too. I think we should be notified if there are changes to delivery. I suddenly started getting daily digests and I didn’t realize there were up to 4 different bloggers in it. I thought it was only one! argh!

  9. Uurgh… My little head hurts! I get so confused with all this. maybe i should look at Bloglifelivingreading whatever lol! I use the WP reader and try and visit those that I remember too over on Blogger… which is terrible because unless they have interacted with me i know I have missed out on some brilliant blogs. It’s so hard keeping up lol if we had an extra 2 hours in the day I definitely would end up using them on blogging. But I think I spend more time visiting everybody than I do actually posting!!… If you’re a dimwit there’s no words for me!!
