    • They are indeed…some have faces more like wallabies..which have a finer face..they really are amazing creatures…all I saw today was my neighbours paddock full of creamy white tummies as they lay in the winter sun puddles πŸ™‚

  7. Typist is very jealous that you get to see these beautiful creatures so often. I pointed out that she gets to see me daily but apparently that’s not the same!

    • Haahahha indeed it may be a tad different Basil πŸ™‚ unless you grow giant feet and a tail? can you perhaps leap very high and hop very fast…typist may then be very much enamoured with your daily exploits haahaah πŸ™‚ they are indeed a beautiful and much loved animal to me πŸ™‚ but hey you are pretty special yourself πŸ˜‰ hugs Fozziemum

  9. Meg, this video and these pictures are phenomenal! What a beautiful family! My gosh, I didn’t realize how huge they are. Papa looks like some kind of body builder! Little Nicky is so absolutely adorable! Kangaroos seem like such odd creatures but they’re beautiful and amazing! And you’ve got them right outside your kitchen door! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Linda πŸ™‚ yep the guys are pretty big! the red roos in the centre of the country are even bigger..dad has huge muscles and they are incredibly powerful! he jumps huge fences from a standstill with great ease! hence the reason they can be so dangerous…they may be gorgeous but they are dynamic and strong ..they use those huge tails to balance on when boxing and if you look at the tails you can see how thick and strong they are..they really make my day here and yep right outside the kitchen window..:) hugs Bev xx
