    • Layla it is a bit hard..but I can cook and watch them which is pretty cool….I do however get sidetracked and tend to sneak out for a watch…or climb trees ..that is usually where you can find me on a nice day…up a tree dangling precariously waiting for them to visit πŸ˜‰

  2. That is FABulous!! You thinks you could get her to do some weedin’ while she’s there??! Might as well put those powerful hands to work for ya! BOL
The most I gets in my garden are tree rats, rats, burds and the occasional possom. Booooring! (Butts, mighty tasty!!! hehehe)

  3. Sunday a.m. and iI had a male turkye on the deck wanting his weetbix for brekky…a pheasant coucal darting around the yard.
Then later I heard an interesting fossicking noise and creeping up to it, was a young echidna who stuck her head under some bits of wood and wouldn’t come out. I think I could have 2. Would be amazing to see babies!

  4. Yeh echidnas are gorgeous! They’ve got strong claws too that rip apart big termite mounds, and anything that eats those critters is welcome around here.

    • I agree..we have Eddie and Edwina here..though sonce the acreage next door ploughed trees down in preparation to build we haven’t seen them..plus it’s too cold here anyway..i have some wonderful pics of our Echidnas and they make grunting sounds too..we have had to move them several times to keep them from coming in with the doggies…hard to budge once they dig in!! πŸ™‚
