Friday on my mind

I got crafty this week and made a little crochet bag for the knitted critters…

This was made easier as I was unable to make the bed ..so I had more time..

Forrest had his party and as I tried to get a close up while feeding him a chicken chippie..i failed to release my finger in time…

He bit my nail off..oh well..my bad..and anyway the gel I get put on my nails needs redoing anywhos because my nails have grown..just need a false one now to match the rest….or perhaps I can use my home made wontons to cover my finger…

The first sign of winter’s end behind the barn and in some rubble….

It made my day to see this Daffy…

Of course I have been enjoying the roos visiting and in their travels…

Their big feet got in the way of springs first flush…dang..and then this morning….the bunnies thought they would help with gardening too…under my Orange blossom and up the other end near my jasmine..

Oh they had such fun….

And so..this weekend I shall be busy…rabbit proofing the yard..again…digging up the poor daffy and replanting it somewhere roo feet proof..getting my nails done…making the bed….and maybe just maybe resting my poor eyes that are beyond sore today..we are working on more fencing out the back and I hope to have some progress pics up..so we will be catching up with you all but maybe higgledy piggledy πŸ˜‰ loves Moi ❀

  1. You have a menagerie of animals! Bless your poor Daffodil. The same thing happened to my daylilies…well, mine was trampled by a big pawed Basset Hound! Good luck on the repairs/replanting!

  6. LOVE the crochet basket too – it’s wonderful and perfect for the little critters to reside in (which I also absolutely LOVE). You crafty girl you……so winter is almost over? The daffy certainly was brave poking its head up in the middle of roo territory! Have a perfect Friday!

  10. aaww – that critter bag is adorable!! I just ❀ it. And those Roo's have been having fun in your yard. I never thought about that. It's true but it never dawned on me. It's kind of like the deer we have here that roam everywhere. Kind of neato. I'm sending hogs and snout kisses to your little finger. Poor thing. -:) winks for a happy weekend! XOXO – Bacon

  12. The wildlife doesn’t always help with the gardening, does it? We’ve had a lot of white tailed deer this year munching on my flower gardens….lilies are their favorite. Sometimes Luke will see them in there and give them a “get out of Mom’s garden” bark!
Hope you do get to squeeze in some rest time on your busy weekend!
