  1. We’re supposed to get the rain tomorrow and then it’s going to get cold–well cool again. Typical Spring.

    Love seeing your roos.

  2. It’s pretty neat that they just walk into your back yard. I’ve only ever seen kangaroos at the zoo, so this is quite enjoyable for me! The only things that com won’t my back yard at deer and bears.

  3. The Roos sure are an fascinating animal.
Hope they stay out of your yard now that the fencing is finished.
All I see is squirrels in my yard. They dig in my flower pots.
    Happy Labor Day.

    • Hahahaha naughty Squirrels Cinnamon πŸ™‚ the fence is more to stop Forrest jumping over and chasing them..they are very timid and won’t get too close but we can’t risk Forrest chasing them. I wish we did have a labor day..ours was in March πŸ™‚ but do enjoy yours pretty girl πŸ™‚ hugs and loves Fozziemum xxxx

  4. Love the photos.

Is it true roos fur is very soft, but koalas is rough? When my dad did some work in Australia, he brought me back a Koala toy which was so soft. He said he was told it was made from Kangaroo fur. I loved that Koala so much if eventually felt apart when I was in my 20s:)

Hope you have had a good start to the week.

  5. OMD, they are just adorables!!! She is one busy lady, that one!! ☺ Too bad the ‘pocket joey’ didn’t make an appearance… Maybe next time it will stick it’s head out and say hello! bol

  6. Really beautiful photos Bev. Nice to see the green grass. 2nd. day of Spring here and we are expecting nearly 30* C. Yesterday was very warm. Last day of winter and I had a big burn off piling sawn skinny trees I could drag onto big pile and big bonfire. So glad to finally get some of the bush, bit too close to the house, making me anxious cut down. Carefully selected tho’. No good animal housing taken, just crook and dead trees. Fair bit more to go yet as I am preparing constantly for fire season.
Birds around the place are breeding. Hopefully babies soon!

          • yeh, I took visiting family to a lovely piece of old forest recently and made them stop on the road so I could rescue a large carpet snake on the road which was too sluggish to move. I moved it off with a stick so it would not get run over. At least you should be relieved that the animals are safer from coming up against them this season.

  7. Well even though you are a world away well we had in common a rainy Monday. Your Spring and now my Fall has started. I cannot imagine waking up to see Roo in my yard, occasionally I see deer in my yard even though I live in the city.
    Thanks for being a friend
