Early night

Well I am off to have an early night..i have my new computer slowly getting sorted..i did a post then realised all my pictures are on the other computer..urghh..I haven’t got the energy for getting them transferred over..this old body is not playing nice.
I will try and get it sorted tomorrow..fresh eyes (hmmmm) may help.

I do know this the fact I finally have an appointment with a Rheumatologist at the end of next month is filling me with joy!

Seems more things are dropping off and not quite working as they should and it is starting to take it’s toll..i am getting cranky..well crankier bwahaha.

My eyes are getting worse and my eyelids now are covered in blotches which are incredibly sore..making my eyes tired and in turn making me tired.
My stomach has been playing up since Friday and the stomach cramps are no fun.
My joints are aching and funny I watched Misery the other night and oddly enough could empathise with the hobbling she gave him as my ankles feel as if they are splitting..the rash across my cheeks and bridge of my nose has lessened into dry and scaly blotches an attractive look indeed!
And to add to my fun I had a huge weepy sore on my scalp today..hooley dooley..

The constant feeling of a low grade fever and headache today has really put me in a mood….

On the plus side whichever kitty had the poosplosions on the weekend has not had then since we gave them all a boiled chicken weekend…thankyou!

So off to bed for me…I have many more posts to do for our little guest Bashful

but they will have to wait as I just cannot get the energy right now to get the computer stuff sorted..here I go complaining again..how boring…sorry guys..just feel pretty damn deflated and needing to just get this specialist visit done to get to the bottom of all this..

Autoimmune diseases are such a mystery and sadly too little money is put into researching them..and to even find a Rheumatologist here privately or publicly is stupidly hard…
Luckily I have a great GP who has admitted we need a specialist as I have a few autoimmune issues crossing over each other..as they do..and it needs to be sorted…
I am thankful for him as I had one GP many years ago when all this started as good as tell me I was depressed and lazy!

I am not depressed or lazy..i am irritated that I cannot do the things I love because my body lets me down!..urghhh complaining again..boring…ok I am out of here..i think I may have one picture I can share ..
Have a great day guys and please all my friends in the blizzard areas please stay safe and warm we are all thinking of you here and sending our loves!
Fozziemum xx

How I have missed this..

  1. I’m sad with you that you have to bear all that pains…. I agree with you, this disease is still a mystery and I wonder why we can’t find a cure… we can walk on the moon, we can destroy the whole world with touching one button… but we are helpless when it comes to sickness and disease… seems I can join the “angry birds computer club”, just that moment my laptop pegged out…. rest in bits and bytes haunted thingy! aarrrrrgh!

  2. Oh Bev…..hope better days are ahead my friend as I know all of those “THINGS” must really get you down if you let them and much of that is totally out of your control. Auto-immune is a mystery to many and we hope your rheumatologist has some NEW ideas for you. Leading the active life that you do, it has to be hard to put one foot in front of the other sometimes. Hang in there girl – you’re stronger than I would ever be through all of this for sure! Take care of yourself……….please?!?!?!

  6. I am so sorry you are feeling so poorly, Bev, and that you don’t have the answers you need yet. I hope they come soon. There are times when I have a migraine that I am determined to not let it get me down or slow me down, but sometimes we just have to give into our bodies and give them a break. I hope you are getting some rest and that helps you feel better soon. xxoo
PS…thanks for sharing the lovely photo of the fresh tomatoes and the beautiful flowers. That is a breath of fresh air since we’re covered in snow and cold right now!

    • Jan all that snow! I cannot imagine…and migraines are no joy! I had them for years as I had meningitis twice and they would lay me out flat! I am resting up aNd just pottering about doing nothing..hard to do! and I am glad the veggie garden gave you some sunshine in your day πŸ™‚ loves BEV XX

  7. Well….you just made HER sick. HER tomato plant this year only had three on it, and there was something wrong with all three…not an edible one in the bunch.

Gettin’ old is a bugger anyway, you don’t need added stuff to irritate you. Hope you can find some relief in the VERY near future.

  8. I feel your pain. I was diagnosed with RA – also an auto-immune disease – when I was 17 years old. It kind of has a mind of its own – flaring up and calming down at random intervals. I hope you get whatever is happening sorted out quickly. There are lots of new medicines that help a lot. Good luck. Keep us posted.

    • Genevieve RA stinks and to have it so young…not fair!the dr is thinking RA or Lupus on top of Srjogrens and Fibro…lucky me bwahah I may have hit the autoimmune jackpot! flare ups really are rotten and sadly when they go you push yourself because you feel good..i hope this Rheumy can help..or at least make things more manageable πŸ˜‰ loves BEV XXX

  10. Oh dear Fozziemum, this sounds like you need some healing Pawkisses to give you peace in the situation, and that your body can rest for a while. Granny knows how it feels, all the suffering and the pain, but don’t be so hard on yourself, dear Fozziemum. We’ll purray for you ❀ ❀ ❀

  11. Glad you have an appointment Bev! My health issue took over three months (actually two years) to fix just because of waiting to be seen. Health issues wear ya down. You would think that peeps in the health industry would know we are already feeling pretty crummy if we are seeing a Dr. and that they would be a bit more kind and understanding.

    • Pix I know I am coming up to 6 years of back and forth and the apt has taken..well they sent a letter in August saying they would send me a letter ..and that letter in August was after a four month wait..they do wear you down…and I am more annoyed because the eye issue I tried to bring up at a private consult with a Rheumy over 18 months ago and he shined me on..hence the need for a new rheumy!….urghhhhh hope you are getting back to some sort of norm! loves Bev xxx
