  1. You most certainly do have an incredibly beautiful country – so many amazing landscapes…..beautiful foliage and animals and friendly faces……you managed to find several little bits of paradise on your trip – around every corner and across every vista. You and the camera are obviously “best friends”…….if I had to pick a favorite photo from this batch – I couldn’t!!!

  2. a lillypilly tree? are that nuts or berries? are they edible? (i mean more than only one time lol) this place screams for a cold drink and a good book! i bet bashful was happy to meet his bigger cousins… and we really need better drugs for my mom now, she read “COCAINE” tractor :o)

    • Hhaaha I believe they are berries and the native wildlife eats them…the only lillypillies I have veer grown scertainly do not get to such dinosaur sizes! it does cream for a book a drink and a nice rest! Bashful met a new friend there and felt quite impressed with his bigger cousins..our guide and his father once were there on a clear day..his father yelled run..the storm further up had sent a wall of water down..he said the boulders moved like pebbles and the sound was incredible..he said luckily his father knew the signs or they would be dead..amazing!
Poor mum..she does need better drugs bwaahhaha maybe she was ‘wishing’ hey! anything to stop the pain 😦 poor mum ..big hugs Fozziemum xxxx

  3. Every time I see a picture, I’m like “This is great – this is the most beautiful”. And then I see the next picture and I’m like, “No, this one is the most beautiful”. Heck, I give up. They are ALL beautiful. From the creeping vine to the beach/watering hole. Great pictures for great memories! XOXO – Bacon

  5. That seems like it must be heaven. Wish you had sound so I could hear the water running over the pebbles and rocks and the sound the rain forest makes. The lillypilly why I never heard of a lillypilly tree.
    Thanks for being a friend

  7. Fab photos! When you get in rainforest like that and immerse yourself and then you come out again, you feel as though you were in another world. It’s a shock to the system. I love rocks and water holes and usually have to get in 1 when I discover 1!

  8. All the pictures are beautiful and GREEN and I love the water shots. We used to get up early when we went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina just to see the little sand crabs.. we don’t see them in Venice, Florida. Your river pictures with peeps look like when we used to float the Meramec River… some stories there πŸ˜€ Love the sand bar shot.

    • Thankyou sweets…the water was beautiful indeed…wish I was there now…we do have a beautiful little part of the earth here..pity more people here do not travel here ..seems a lot of them find overseas more alluring..loves bev xx

        • Funny I think the reason here is due to our dollar it is cheaper usually to fly overseas and travel than do so internally…I have no desire to travel overseas until I see all we have to offer..i am always astounded that people think foreign countries have more to offer..as if we are still a backwards little place..truth is we have it all..oceans reefs mountains deserts rainforests….Love you madly back sweets πŸ™‚ xxx

          • I think that is prevalent in many countries. I have heard of airplane flights that are CHEAPER to go to UK than to go out West to British Columbia here! So weird!
I would not fly; terrified for many reasons. Not sure how good I would be ‘on the road’ anymore…guess I will never know….
I am grounded til further notice, hahaha!
