Sunday night we headed into town for a burger..Hubby was back at work after two weeks off and even though a burger sounds a bit ordinary ..well they are no ordinary burgers..so we each had a Field of Dreams burger..Grll’d the place to be for awesome burgers..
We stopped by the highway so i could jump out and take a shot of this house i adore on top of the hill…
And then town for that dinner..
A huge burger with a massive grilled field mushroom, basil pesto, roasted capsicum (bell pepper) tasty cheese, salad and herbed mayo..on a wholemeal blend roll.. a side serve of handcut chips and a spicy mayo dip…and a ginger beer..bliss!
After dinner we needed to walk off our meal..so we took a stroll around town..town is Bendigo 20minutes drive from home.
The centre of town has a lovely fountain..it’s in the middle of a busy intersection so at night it was a lot easier to get over to take some shots..still getting used to my new camera and in the dark i go to change dials which are now in different spots..go figure 🙂 at night the fountain is lit up blue..well at least Sunday night it was..so this picture is quite odd but appealing i think..
Just across the road on the left of this picture and a nice stroll up the street we came across an instrument shop..i wonder if when the lights go out across town the instruments come to life…
Further up the street is the Bendigo Art Gallery..i love how the architecture is so very much a reminder of our humble British beginnings.
The trip home we stopped the car just a few minutes down the road so i could try and get the Church captured..the moon was full and in some shots i got it but i was really having a hard time as the church is massive and even with a wide angle i was fumbling all over the church grounds with poor old hubby carrying my tripod as i darted and dodged across the grounds..i like this shot as it is a little left of centre and an odd perspective…
I hope you all have a super week and i am trying very hard to catch up folks..snails pace me!
