Life returning to the landscape

Yesterday was beautiful..too nice to be home on the computer..so off i went dragging hubby along…well not really we love going off on jaunts!

I had been to these places a few weeks ago in my 260 kilometre search for inspiration..well to say a few weeks makes a difference is an understatement!

We have had some rain..not a lot but some and it seems that the fields all over our state are saying thankyou..what a sight to drive and drive and see nothing but gold and green..far and wide..sun shining down..sky blue..puffy white clouds..a gorgeous day for the eyes and the spirit.

Add to this a lunch break at a country bakery with great food and coffee and i am one happy girl.

And now the pictures hubby took yesterday may make some sense.

Enjoy the Canola..as it turns it’s blooms to the sky and show’s the beauty of our farming landscape.

    • Pam indeed our seasons are doing their turn around..the fields are stunning and i had so much fun just watching as they passed me while i drove..i am glad i did as today has been very cold..and we have had torrential rain tonight..so i can look at the Canola and the green wheat fields and feel a bit warmer:) but Fall..one of my fave seasons πŸ™‚ along with spring..we may both be having glorious seasons at the same time! • Oh no Easy i think Mum would be fine with this..it was no bigger than a tiny shed..no idea what it was in a previous life but surely Mum could do no harm…??? it does look so pretty all the green and gold..very much like Eldorado..though i came home poor bwahahaahaah …i want to go back when they harvest the crops as the machines are big and red and i think it would make a great shot…and then off it all goes to make oil πŸ™‚ xxx Fozziemum

    • Oh Genevieve thankyou so much ! It was a lovely Spring day which has given way to torrential rain now..those crops will really benefit now..and i look forward to going back when the Canola is harvested..or if the clouds become gloomy..that will make for some interesting shots i think πŸ™‚ hugs Bev

  4. Wow, the canola fields are amazing! Such a vibrant yellow; reminds me of the forsythia plants that bloom in the early spring here. Stunning photos, Bev! πŸ™‚

  6. I love Canola flowers in the fields…something so uplifting about those yellow flowers….
I adore your lone tree photos…they speak to the struggle they have surviving in such an unforgiving climate!!
And the panoramas are spectacular Bev!!!
